In February 1982, Bharathidasan University was launched. The name is in honour of Kanagasabai Subbu aka Bharathidasan, one of the great Tamil revolutionary poets. This university has the slogan: “We will create a brave new world.”

Admission Criteria

For the online BBA course, the applicant must have completed Std. XII examination from a recognised board.

For the online MBA course, the applicant must have completed an undergraduate degree or an equivalent education at the 10 + 2 + 3 level, including a B.E. or B. Tech. with a minimum of 50% in the final year.

Depending on the student’s academic standing and categories, Bharathidasan University offers a variety of scholarship programs. The university also has a program referred to as the “Earn while you Study Plan.” Through this program, students can get paid for helping at the Central Library, the Center for Distance Learning, and the Examinations Wing.
