In 1980-81, Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation (KLEF) was set up as KL College of Engineering. By 2006, this became an autonomous college. In 2009, it became ‘Deemed to be University.’

To apply for the BBA course, the applicant must have completed 10 + 2 education level or equivalent education.

To apply for the BCA course, the applicant must have completed 10 + 2 education level or equivalent education.

To apply for the MCA course, the applicant must have completed 15 or 16 years of education or a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.

To apply for the MBA course, the applicant must have completed a graduation degree in any discipline.

To apply for the online programs, the admission process is the following:

1. Register on the student portal.
2. Enter your credentials.
3. Upload all essential scanned documents.
4. Pay the nominal registration fees.
5. View the Dashboard of the system to know the status of your admission.
6. If you are shortlisted, you get a notification on the portal and through email and SMS.
7. Pay the admission fees to confirm admission.

KLEF has a Training & Placement Cell, which is made up of about 50 employees. This cell aims to employ eligible and interested students. To help students get placed, the university conducts talks by industry veterans, discussions among alumni, communication workshops, group discussions, resume critiques, practical problem-resolution exercises and sector-specific mock interviews.
