The goal of the Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology is to offer high-quality teaching and research for higher education. The institution has grown under the direction of Founder Chancellor Col. Dr. JEPPIAAR, M.A., B.L., Ph.D., and the dynamic leadership of Chancellor Dr. MARIAZEENA JOHNSON, B.E., M.B.A., M.Phil., Ph.D., with help from President Dr. MARIE JOHNSON, B.E., M.B.A., M.Phil., Ph.D., The school has 40 Bachelor’s degree programs, 21 Master’s degree programs, and Ph.D. programs in many different fields. The Sathyabama All India Online Entrance Examination is used to decide who gets into the Undergraduate Engineering, Technology, Architecture, and B. Design programs.

The Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) was set up in 2020 with the goal of spreading knowledge and giving good education through online and open learning. The Online Learning (OL) and Online and Distance Learning (ODL) rules of UGC 2020 were used to start this center. The Centre tries to make high-quality learning possible for people who can’t go to college in the usual way and for people who want to keep learning throughout their lives. At the moment, the Centre offers both undergraduate and graduate programs in Science, Humanities, and Management.

UGC has told Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology CDOE to follow the four-quadrant approach when delivering courses online. Learners will be able to access the degree programs through a Virtual learning environment with relevant support services that are built in. This environment will make it easier to deliver content like recorded videos, learning materials, and discussion forums in a meaningful and consistent way. Learners would work with well-trained instructors and do activities that help them meet the program’s learning goals while keeping academic integrity.

The Sathyabama ODL Online Degree Programs are a set of encouraging and interactive online learning platforms that mimic what it’s like to be in a classroom. The goal is to make it easier for students to talk to Sathyabama faculty, professional peers, and course facilitators directly and in real-time. The best thing about Sathyabama ODL is that its program structure can be changed easily. All programs are meant to teach you how to adapt to new situations, connect with others, take the lead, and think in new ways, all while you learn the skills and knowledge you need to move up in your career.
