A part of Delhi University, DU SOL is a college that offers distance learning programmes to almost 10 lakh students. The School of Opening Learning (SOL) has added six new programs: BMS, BBA (FIA), BA (Hons.) Economics, Library and Information Science, and MBA. Registrations for getting into DU SOL in 2022 are now closed.

With almost 10 lakh students, DU SOL is one of the largest distance education schools in India. Delhi University has something called the School of Open Learning (SOL DU). The School’s 13 departments each offer different classes. DU SOL offers several courses at the UG and PG levels, including B.Com, B.Com (Hons.), B.A (Program), B.A (Hons.), B.A (Hons.)PS, M.A, M.Com, and many more in the Arts and Commerce streams.

DU SOL was founded in 1962. The university sends detailed study materials to enrolled students via email, and the same is true for a program called Personal Contact Program (PCP), which helps DU SOL students.

DU SOL offers a way to learn from a distance called “distance education.” This is a good option for students who need a flexible way to learn higher education and job skills. The university has also begun offering online courses, including the B.A., B.Com, English (Hons.), Political Science (Hons.), and B.Com programs (Hons.).

Admission

At UG level, DU SOL offers BA (P), BA (Hons.), and B.Com, B.Com (H) courses in various disciplines. 10+2 with the cognate subject and the desired percentage of marks is the minimum eligibility criteria for admission. The admission is completely merit-based. The candidates are called for document verification and seat allotment as per the cut off lists published from time to time during the admission
