Programme Design
The program design will consist of four modules including one international module reflecting the four distinct competency needs of tomorrow’s leaders.
Focus Area 1: Personal Growth and Leadership Lab
The Personal Growth and Leadership Lab focuses on exploring the personal and emotional resilience of the individual. The methodology used will be experiential. A half day expectation setting with four days of outbound training program and closing with half a day of personal development and visioning process. All participants are profiled on a global leadership inventory. Participants would be required to carry a 360-degree feedback as pre-course assignment
Focus Area 2: Advanced Themes in Functional Areas
The second module on Functional Themes focuses on advanced topics in various functional areas of management including Finance and Accounting; Marketing Management and market Research, Operations Management; Managing Human Resources Understanding your people strategy and process; Strategy and Advanced Negotiations
Focus Area 3: Managing Business in the Global Context
The module Managing Business in the Global Context covers special issues that managers need to focus on when they operate in global markets. Topics covered in this module would include multi-domestic, global and transnational strategies, entry strategies and strategic alliances, global marketing and R&D, global operations management, intercultural management, international financial management and reporting standards.
Focus Area 4: Strategy and Leadership
The sixth and final module of AMP attempts to synthesize learning from the previous modules and look at other boundary spanning issues that are critical for organizational survival and growth today. This aims to prepare the participants for assuming a more effective leadership role within their organizations. Selected topics to be covered in this module include managing complexity and diversity, social responsibility, ethical leadership and creating new market spaces. Classroom sessions would be supplemented with interactive sessions and panel discussions with industry and thought leaders on issues related to strategy and leadership.
