Executive PGD in Management or Distance learning Management courses by IIM Ranchi
Jharkhand region has several large public as well as private sector undertakings that are in need of managerial skill for upgradation of their employees. Apart from nationalized banks, media houses and even the state government employees are looking for opportunities to academic qualifications from IIM Ranchi.
In todays competitive environment, every manager should have a good understanding of finance, accounting, economics, markets, competitiveness, quality and productivity. They should also have a good understanding of what works and otherwise in their business. If an organization has to succeed, people at all levels should feel passionate about their business and also innovate and continuously improve the processes, products and technologies. Hence they also need to understand human psychology to motivate people to perform at their peak levels. This programe will address all these issue and make the participants more effective in their jobs and help them become leaders in their domains.

Curriculum
PGEXP is divided into six terms of 3 months each. The first three terms expose the participants to the foundation courses and also impart knowledge on functional skills. The fourth and fifth terms are devoted to elective courses. The sixth term is devoted to project work.

Eligibility
In order to differentiate this programme from the full-time 2 year PGDM, it is proposed to restrict entry to only those with a minimum 7 years of work experience.Participants to the PGPEX will be selected through written-test and interviews designed by IIM Ranchi. The applicant should have a minimum 7 years of work experience in government, private or public sector to be eligible to attend this program. Company sponsored candidates will be given higher preference.
