In February 1982, Bharathidasan University was launched. The name is in honour of Kanagasabai Subbu aka Bharathidasan, one of the great Tamil revolutionary poets. This university has the slogan: “We will create a brave new world.”

For the online BBA course, the applicant must have completed Std. XII examination from a recognised board.
For the online MBA course, the applicant must have completed an undergraduate degree or an equivalent education at the 10 + 2 + 3 level, including a B.E. or B. Tech. with a minimum of 50% in the final year.
To apply to the online courses, the admission process is the following:
- Enter information on the admission form and sign this form.
- Attach the mandatory documents to the form.
- Pay the relevant fees required for the online course.
- Send the mandatory documents and online fee receipt by courier or email to the university.
